About Us

Who Are We?

AMSA UNM, also known as the American Medical Students Association, is a Pre-Medical chapter at UNM that paves the way into medical school for members. We do this through listening to guest speakers, including Healthcare Providers and Medical students, who provide us with great insight into what to do to get into medical school and how to get there. Members are provided with access to volunteer opportunities and opportunities to connect with members and physicians. AMSA UNM is a great way to get involved and participate in fun activities while journeying to medical school! 

We offer hands-on experiences, networking events, andworkshops to empower future healthcare professionals. Our goal is to create a supportive community and share resources!

Our meetings are held biweekly on Thursdays at 5:30 pm.
